Yes, the HD-100 records to tape or it can record to hard disk via the FW output. The issue with timecode is of synchronization. While you can get the cameras to record timecode it will be next to impossible to achieve synch unless the cameras can use a signal to run the same timecode. And I mean EXACTLY the same timecode. If you're off even just a few frames then it will be very time-consuming to adjust the edits. Paolo I am a digital film student at the art Institute of California, I have never worked with a multi camera shoot I have always used my HD100 by itself' but I will be doing multi camera shoots in the near future. My question is are these camera's recording to their own tape or source and are they all continually running during the take so that time code remains the same on all.
